Andreas ten Pas

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics Scientist at BotBuilt

I am currently a Robotics Scientist at BotBuilt in Durham, North Carolina. Previously, I obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northeastern University where I was a member of the Helping Hands Lab, advised by Professor Robert Platt.

My main interest is in the field of perception for robotics. In particular, I'm focussing on applying computer vision and machine learning methods to solve robotic grasping and manipulation problems.

I started my PhD in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University at Buffalo.
